Craps (previously known as crabs) is a casino dice game. Craps is a simplification of the Old English game hazard.

The game involves predicting what numbers will be rolled on a pair of dice. The objective is to bet whether the Shooter will roll a winning combination. The Shooter is a person who throws the dice.

The first roll of the dice in a craps round is called the “come out roll”. The opening bet in craps, which is placed just before the come out roll, is called the “pass line bet.” Pass line bets win if the shooter’s come out roll is 7 or 11, and lose when the come out roll is 2 (snake eyes), 3 (cross eyes), or 12 (box cars). If 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 are rolled on the come out roll then that number becomes “the point”. Once the point has been established a plastic disc (the puck) is placed on the table over the box for the number rolled as the point is “4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10″.
3.3 Bet Types

Pass Line Bets

‘Pass Line’ bet is placed on the field labeled “PASS LINE” before the come out roll. This bet wins if the come out roll is 7 or 11, and loses if 2, 3 or 12 are rolled. If 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 are rolled, that number becomes “the point“. To win a ‘Pass Line’ bet, the shooter must roll the point again before rolling a 7. If the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again, a ‘Pass Line’ bet loses. A winning ‘Pass Line’ bet pays even money (1 to 1). Once the point has been established, unresolved ‘Pass Line’ bets may not be removed or reduced. They must be resolved by a roll of the point or 7.

Don’t Pass Line Bets

‘Don’t Pass Line’ bet is placed on the craps table in the “DON’T PASS BAR” before the come out roll. If the shooter rolls 2 or 3 on the come out roll, a ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bet wins. However, if the come out roll is 7 or 11, ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bets lose. If the come out roll is 12, a ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bet is returned to the player in a push. If the come out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the point. Once the point has been established, ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bets win if the shooter rolls a 7 before rolling the point again. If the shooter rolls the point again before rolling a 7, ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bets lose. A winning ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bet pays even money (1 to 1). Unlike ‘Pass Line’ bets, ‘Don’t Pass Line’ bets may be removed or reduced.

Come Bets

A come bet is placed in the “COME” bar on the craps table before any roll of the dice, once the point has been established by the come out roll. The rules for come bets are essentially the same as pass line bets. Come bets win, if the shooter’s next roll is 7 or 11, and lose, if the roll is 2, 3, or 12. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then that number becomes “the come point,” and the dealer will move the come bet from the “COME” bar on the craps table to the box corresponding to the come point: “4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10″. If the shooter rolls the come point again before rolling a 7, come bets win. Similarly to the pass line bet, unresolved come bets may not be removed or reduced. They must be resolved by a roll of the come point or 7.

Don’t Come Bets
Craps 1
Don’t come bets win when the shooter’s next roll is 2 or 3, and lose if the roll is 7 or 11. If the shooter rolls a 12, the bet will be returned to the player in a push. If the roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes “the come point,” and the dealer will move the don’t come bet from the “DON’T COME BAR” to the left corner of the narrow, uppermost bar over the box corresponding to the come point: “4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10″. After the come point is established, don’t come bets win if 7 is rolled and lose if the come point is rolled. Don’t come bets will stay in their place until the come point or a 7 is rolled. However, unresolved don’t come bets may be removed.

Odds Bets

Odds Bet is a “Back Up” bet on an original Pass Line Bet, Don’t Pass Line Bet, Come Bet, or Don’t Come Bet.

Unlike the original Pass Line Bet, an unresolved Pass Line Odds Bet may be removed.

Don’t Pass Line Odds Bets

Once the Point has been established, a “Don’t Pass Line Odds Bet” is placed by clicking your left mouse button anywhere on the “DON’T PASS BAR” area. A winning Don’t Pass Line Odds Bet pays true odds: 1 to 2 when the point is 4 or 10, 2 to 3 when the point is 5 or 9, and 5 to 6 when the point is 6 or 8. A winning Come Odds Bet pays true odds: 2 to 1 when the point is 4 or 10, 3 to 2 when the point is 5 or 9, and 6 to 5 when the point is 6 or 8. Unlike the original Come Bet, an unresolved Come Odds Bet may be removed.

Don’t Come Odds Bets

Once the Come Point has been established, a “Don’t Come Odds Bet” is placed on your “Don’t Come Bet” by clicking in the space directly under your Don’t Come Bet, within the narrow, uppermost bar. This bar is above the box that corresponds to the Come Point: “4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10″. A winning Don’t Come Odds Bet pays true odds: 1 to 2 when the point is 4 or 10, 2 to 3 when the point is 5 or 9, and 5 to 6 when the point is 6 or 8. An unresolved Don’t Come Odds bet may be removed.

Field Bets

A “Field Bet” is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12. It is placed in the “FIELD” bar area, before any roll of the dice. If the next roll is 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11, Field Bet wins even money. If 2 is rolled, the Field Bet wins 2 to 1. If 12 is rolled, Field Bet wins 2 to 1. If 5, 6, 7, or 8 is rolled, Field Bet is lost.

Big 6 and Big 8 Bets

A “Big 6 Bet” is a bet that 6 will be rolled before 7. Equally, a “Big 8 Bet” is a bet that 8 will be rolled before 7. A Big 6 or a Big 8 Bet is placed in either “6″ or “8″ box, which is located in the right corner of the craps table. A Big 6 or Big 8 Bet pays 7:6 if the shooter rolls a 6 or 8 before rolling 7. Unresolved Big 6 and Big 8 Bets may be removed.

1. A “Place to Win Bet” is a bet that either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 will be rolled before a 7. A Place to Win Bet is placed in the narrow, unlabeled bar located just under the box with the corresponding number on the Craps Table: “4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10″. A winning Place to Win Bets are paid according to the following ratios: 7 to 6 on numbers 6 and 8, 7 to 5 on numbers 5 and 9, and 9 to 5 on numbers 4 and 10.

2. A “Place to Lose Bet” is a bet that 7 will be rolled before either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. A Place to Lose Bet is placed in the right-hand side of the narrow, unlabeled bar located just above the box with the corresponding number on the craps table: “4, 5, six, 8, nine, or 10″. A winning Place to Lose Bets are paid according to the following ratios: 4 to 5 on numbers 6 and 8, 5 to 8 on numbers 5 and 9, and 5 to 11 on numbers 4 and 10.

Buy Bets
Craps 5
A “Buy Bet” is a bet that either 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 will be rolled before 7. 5% commission is charged on your profit from this bet. Buy Bet winnings are then paid at true odds: 6 to 5 on numbers 6 and 8, 3 to 2 on numbers 5 and 9, and 2 to 1 on numbers 4 and 10.
Lay Bets
Craps 6
A “Lay Bet” is essentially the reverse of a Buy Bet. A Lay Bet is a bet that 7 will be rolled before 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. 5% commission is charged on your profit from this bet. Lay Bet winnings are then paid at true odds: 5 to 6 on numbers 6 and 8, 2 to 3 on numbers 5 and 9, and 1 to 2 on numbers 4 and 10. Unresolved Lay Bets may be removed.

Any 7 Bets

An “Any 7 Bet” is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be a 7. It is placed on any roll of the dice, in the “SEVEN” field, on the craps table. If 7 is rolled, you win 4 times your bet.

Any Craps Bets

An “Any Craps Bet” is a bet that the next roll of the dice will be 2, 3, or 12. It is placed on any roll of the dice, in the “ANY CRAPS” field on the craps table. If 2, 3, or 12 is rolled, you win 7 times your bet.

Horn Bets
Craps 7

The “Horn Bet” is a one roll bet, by which you are betting that 2, 3, 11 or 12 will appear on the next roll of the dice. This bet box is placed in the center of the “one roll” layout.

There are two ways to place a Horn Bet. You may bet on each specific number individually, or on the group of four numbers as a whole.

To place a bet on a specific number, place your bet in 2, 3, 11 or 12 box. The odds (return) for each number being rolled are clearly marked in each box. For example, if you bet $1 on the number 2 being rolled next, and win, you will receive the marked odds of 30 for 1; for a total return of $30.

To place a bet on the Horn group as a whole (2, 3, 11 or 12), place your bet in the “Horn Bet” box, located in the center of the Horn numbers. If one of the Horn numbers is rolled next, you will receive the marked odds for the number rolled (either 15 for 1, or 30 for 1), minus 3/4 of the return amount (as the group Horn Bet is four times more likely to see a return). For example, if you place a $1 bet in the “Horn Bet” box, and either 2 or 12 is rolled, you will receive the marked odds of 30 for 1, minus 3/4 of the amount; for a total return of $7.75. If either 3 or 11 is rolled, you will receive the marked odds of 15 for 1, minus 3/4 of the amount; for a total return of $4.

Hardway Bets

Craps 8
A “Hardway Bet” is a bet that the shooter will roll either 4, 6, 8, or 10 as doubles (2+2, 3+3, 4+4, or 5+5) before rolling a 7. For example, a roll of 4+4 is called a “Hard 8,” while a roll of 5+3 or 6+2 is called an “Easy 8.” A winning Hardway Bet pays 8 for 1 on numbers 4 and 10 and 10 for 1 on numbers 6 and 8. If you roll an “Easy” before rolling a “Hard” you lose your bet. Unresolved Hardway Bets may be removed.

Craps, Eleven (‘Yo’), Eleven or Craps Bets

Craps 9
Craps bet is a single bet placed anytime that will pay 7:1 if a total of 2, 3 or 12 is thrown on the next roll, all other totals on this roll will lose the bet. This bet is placed by clicking any of ‘C’ circles on the craps table.

Eleven bet is a single bet placed anytime that will only pay if a total of 11 is thrown on the next roll, all other totals on this roll will lose the bet. Eleven bet will pay 15:1. This bet is placed by clicking any of ‘E’ circles on the craps table.

Eleven or Craps is a combination of Craps bet and Eleven bet. It is placed on the area between ‘C’ and ‘E’ circles on the craps table. It will pay 7:2 if 2,3,12 is rolled and 15:2 if 11 is rolled.

Blackjack

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Blackjack, also known as twenty-one, is one of the most popular casino card games in the world. Blackjack’s precursor was vingt-et-un (“twenty-one”), which originated in French casinos around 1700.

In Blackjack a player competes against the Dealer. The goal of the game for a player is to beat the Dealer’s hand by either getting a better hand without exceeding 21 or by the Dealer’s hand going bust (going over 21). Both the player and the Dealer are dealt two cards, and from there, the player may request as many cards as he wants, as long as he doesn’t exceed the value of 21. After the player finishes with his hand, the same process occurs to the Dealer’s hand, after which the two hands are compared, bets paid or collected.

A Blackjack is a total of 21, when a hand contains an Ace and any ten-valued card (Jack, King, Queen
or Ten), but only in case these two cards are the first two cards dealt to a player or Dealer.

Card Values

Blackjack hands are scored by their point total. In Blackjack, cards are valued in the following way:
• An Ace can be counted as either 1 or 11 (it is explained below).
• The cards from 2 through 9 have their face values.
• 10, Jack, Queen, and King are all valued at 10

The value of a hand is simply the sum of point counts of each card in the hand. For example, a hand containing (5, 7, 9) has the value of 21.

Blackjack 1

An Ace can be counted either as 1 or 11. An Ace always has the value that makes the best hand. Suppose you have (Ace, 7). The value of this hand can be either 8 or 18. If you stop here, it will be 18.
Blackjack 2

Let’s assume you’ve drawn one more card. The hand contains (Ace, 7, 8). Its total value is 16.

Game Results/ Payouts

Aftera player stands with a hand (stops to draw cards) and after the Dealer completes his hand, the player’s and the Dealer’s hands are compared.
The winning hand is considered the one, which total is greater. If a hand has BJ, such hand beats any hand including a regular 21. In case the hand total is greater than 21, such hand busts.

A Blackjack game can have three possible results:

Win – A player wins if his hand total is greater than the Dealer’s hand total, without busting (going over 21). WIN indicator appears near the hand.
Lose – The player loses if his hand total is less than the Dealer’s, or if the hand busts. BUST indicator appears next to the corresponding hand.
Push – Push is a situation where both the player’s hand and the dealer’s hand are of equal value. PUSH indicator appears next to the player’s hand.
• A regular win pays out 1 to 1; this means that a $10 bet pays out $10
• Blackjack pays out 3 to 2; this means that a $10 bet pays out $15.
• Insurance bet usually pays out 2 to 1; let’s say, a player’s initial bet is $10, he has Insurance option and decides to place the insurance bet (insurance bet equals half the initial bet), in case the Dealer has Blackjack, a player gets 2:1 on his $5 Insurance wager and receives $10.

How to Play

Placing a bet

You are allowed to bet on up to three hands and play for central, right and left players.
Blackjack 3

To place a bet, use betting chips found at the bottom right part of the table. To select a chip, click the desired one with the left mouse button. You may need several chips to reach the desired bet amount; in this case the stack of chips will be formed on the betting area. To place a chip, use one of the ways provided below:
• Click a betting spot where you want to place the selected chip.
• Drag and drop the chosen chip on the desired betting square.
• Click Repeat button to place a bet equal to the previous one
(Note: in case it is your first bet, Repeat control is disabled).

The total bet value is displayed in a small square beside the chips placed. The betting limits are displayed in the frame at the top left side of the game table.

Removing/Decreasing a bet

To remove a bet completely or decrease its value, you need to remove a chip (chips) placed. You may do it in several ways:
• Click and drag chips from the table to the betting chips area.
• Select ‘X’ chip and then click the chip/stack of chips placed. The chips will be removed one by one.
• Press CTRL and then left click the chip/stack of chips placed. The chips will be removed one by one.
• Use Clear control to remove all the chips currently placed on the table.
Blackjack 4
Dealing

Click Deal button to start dealing cards. Once the button is clicked, both you and the Dealer are dealt two cards. You receive cards face up, the Dealer – one card face down, the other one – face up.

If you play multiple hands, several hands will be dealt to you. For each hand, two cards are dealt face up. In this case each hand will be treated separately.

Note: If you are dealt Blackjack, you are immediately paid 1.5 times the placed bet, unless the Dealer also has Blackjack, in which case it is a Push.

The Dealer starts playing his hand once all the player’s hands are completed. The Dealer stands on 17.

Game Options

To proceed with the game:
Blackjack 5

• Click Hit button to draw an additional card to a hand (You may draw as many cards as required. If the total reaches 21, you are not allowed to hit any more. If your hand busts (its total exceeds 21), this hand is removed from the table and you lose).
• Click Stand button to stop drawing cards to a hand (‘STOP’ flag will be displayed for a moment)
• Click Double to make use of use Double option, it can be used once you are dealt two cards. Once Double control is clicked, your original bet amount will be doubled and you’ll be dealt one more card.
No more cards can be drawn for this hand.

Depending on the game situation Split and Insurance options may become available.

Blackjack 6

Split – If first two cards are of the same value (two Aces, two Sevens, etc), you may use ‘Split’ option. Jack, King, Queen have value of 10, therefore two face cards are considered to be acceptable for splitting. This rule applies if you have a Jack and a Ten, for example, or a King and a Ten.

Once Split control is clicked, your hand is split into two separate hands. One card is dealt from the shoe to each of two hands, and one more bet is placed on the betting area, equal to the original bet. Each hand
formed is treated as usual. It is allowed to split a hand only once.
Blackjack 7

Insurance – This option becomes available if the Dealer’s up card is an Ace. In this case, a player has the possibility to insure against the dealer’s Blackjack. ‘Insurance’ message, ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ controls appear on the game table.
Blackjack 8

To make an Insurance bet click Yes button. In this case an additional bet will be placed, equal to half your initial bet.
• If the Dealer does have a Blackjack, you lose the original bet but your insurance returns 2 to 1. The game continues in its normal way.
• If the Dealer does not have Blackjack, Stand, Hit and Double buttons become available to proceed with the game.
Blackjack 9

Note: To start playing a new game round, click New Game button. To repeat the bets placed in the previous game round, use Repeat control.
